No matter if your horse is green or well-trained, at some point you may
need help, because your progress is stagnant or going downhill. In most
cases we address this during lessons. We want you to be involved in the
horses training program. After all, the horses future upkeep and
maintenance of the training received is depending on you.
It has been our experience that owners develop a much deeper
understanding of horse training and are less frustrated with a setback,
because they can now fix a little problem on their own with confidence
and are much less depending on their trainer to fix an issue.
Bottom line; We don't use band-aids to cover up a symptom, but find
and fix the roots of any underlaying problem or gaps in your horses
fundamental training. Then we'll teach you to maintain it and further
progress within your choice of riding discipline, be it competitive or
recreational.
Reining & performance:
Any horse, green or seasoned, will improve from our program which is
based on a strong foundation and series of exercises to improve
performance. From softness in the bridle, responsive cues and body
control to lateral movement, collection and lead changes. If you are as
passionate about reining as we are, we can develop this into rollbacks,
spins and sliding stops or further refinement in other riding
disciplines.

Monthly training fees :
Training horses have to be boarded at Ruff's Ranch:
20 sessions ( horse only- no lessons included) $ 325
